On July 28, 2008, NeedleTech Products, Inc. was acquired by Theragenics Corporation (TGX) (NYSE). Theragenics Corporation® is a medical device company serving the cancer treatment and surgical markets.

NeedleTech Products, Inc., located in Attleboro Massachusetts, was founded in 1988 to address the needs of the Medical Device Original Equipment Manufacturers.

The first of many manufacturing competencies was Needle Point Grinding, followed by Stainless Steel Component Fabrication, Insert Injection Molding, Complete Device Assembly and finally Sterile Product Packaging.

From the beginning, the NeedleTech Mission Statement has been steadfast.
